What you'll be doing:
Lead the IT & Tech Procurement categories for Avon International, being responsible for setting the procurement strategy in partnership with the business, manage suppliers, drive savings and cash improvements on the category, and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
Key responsibilities:
Job Description / Key Accountabilities
1.Procurement strategy: develop category strategy, provide market intelligence, know the global supply base, partner with internal stakeholders and transform business needs into the category strategy (KPIs: Savings, WAPT, Number of suppliers)
2.Financial results: build project pipeline and monitor execution of productivity and savings projects to deliver savings goals, negotiate payment terms to deliver cash related goals, partner with stakeholders on efficiency improvements (KPIs: Savings, WAPT)
3.Budgeting and forecasting: provide input to IT and Procurement budgets, monitor performance of the actuals versus budget
4.Commitment for Life: ensure responsible procurement and sustainability agenda is executed according to Natura &CO ambition. (KPIs: CSR and Sustainability KPIs tbc)
5.People: lead and develop team (direct report), lead cross-functional teams for project development and delivery, develop talent pipeline and drive team engagement
6.Ensure compliance of the company’s policies and procedures for the category spend
7.Support the Procurement Excellence leadership on key strategic initiatives and projects
Experience & Skills Required
Work Experience
- Min 5 years of procurement experience
- Degree in Economics/Finance, Engineering, Business Admin., IT or related area
- Experience in the IT and Technology categories
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills & stakeholder management skills, Strong analytical skills & basic financial acumen, Negotiation, Strategic thinking, Fluent in English
Role Impact
- Define Procurement strategy for the IT & Tech category at Avon Int. (EMEA, APAC, and NA), connecting Procurement KPIs to stakeholders needs. Connection to Stakeholders on all levels
Problem Solving
- Find best-value solutions for Avon’s IT and Technology needs, fit budget goals to savings pipeline within a complex organisational structure
Scope & Team
- Manage Avon International spend for the category (more than US$100m/year) across EMEA, APAC and NA, lead one direct report (analyst)
Partnerships / Key Infuencers
Internal: Stakeholders on all levels up to SVP. Connection with Procurement cluster/regional leaders on topics specific to their areas. Cross-functional teamwork with functions such as IT, SC, Finance, Legal, HR.
External: IT & Technology suppliers, consultants
