Procurement Operations Associate

We're looking for a Procurement Operations Associate to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career.

What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll work alongside the Finance team to support Flatiron’s procure-to-pay operations and assist internal stakeholders as they move through the procurement process. You’ll report to the Manager of Procurement Operations and support cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk. Flatiron is looking for an individual who is excited to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and determined to get the job done. 

In addition, you’ll also:

  • Maintain the day-to-day administration of Coupa, Flatiron’s procure-to-pay system, including: creating/reviewing POs, provisioning licenses, and updating system configurations
  • Act as the “go-to” point of contact for internal and external stakeholders with questions about Flatiron’s procurement policies and procedures
  • Oversee the new vendor approval process, ensuring all vendors have been appropriately vetted and onboarded to Flatiron
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize and streamline existing procurement processes and systems, as well as drive forward new initiatives
  • Complete regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis

Who You Are

You're a process-oriented problem solver who is excited by the prospect of making an impact on a growing team.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years work experience in procurement or related field
  • You have experience in improving processes and working cross-functionally across an enterprise system
  • You possess excellent communication skills and provide top notch customer service to internal stakeholders 
  • You’re system-savvy and have experience working in a P2P or ERP system
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have demonstrated ability to prioritize requests and timelines

Extra credit

  • You have experience with Coupa
  • You have experience running RFPs or other competitive bidding methods
