- Develop and implement advanced supply chain strategies in order to build a network of reliable and quality suppliers

Manage supply chain activities from preliminary design to receipt of goods/services - sourcing, negotiating, contracting, planning, ordering, delivery monitoring, supplier management.

Create analytical models and tools to enable data-driven decision making (e.g., make vs buy, spend forecasting models)

Track promise dates from suppliers and ensure their dates will meet need dates

Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

Consult with external and internal customers to resolve supplier performance issues

Partner with Engineering to manage overall Lander development budget

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or similar technical discipline
-
5+ years of technical procurement, proposal development and contract negotiations

Familiarity with project management tools

Program management experience within a supply chain, production, or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated professional experience in Aerospace industry with New Product Introduction (NPI)

Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced collaborative interdisciplinary team environment

Capable of working both independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced design and development environment

Experience working in the space industry

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other applicable regulations

Competitive salary based upon experience $100k+
