About the role

The Morning Brew is hiring a full-time producer to work with Emma Chieppor, creator of Excel Dictionary, as she expands her brand into new formats and content areas. 

Excel Dictionary aims to be a go-to resource for professionals and hobbyists interested in mastering Excel (and other software) and crave an accessible and fun way in. Excel Dictionary reaches millions of people (1.2 million on IG, 2 million on TikTok) through short-form social video. We are looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated producer to partner with Emma to expand the Excel Dictionary brand.

If you are motivated to transform software education content through humor and great video storytelling, this role is for you.

The position is perfect for a video producer comfortable breaking down complex or technical processes into easily actionable steps. The right candidate has deep editorial, video, and project management experience. They have produced compelling videos for both YouTube and social. They know the nuances of the different social video platforms. They will hone Emma’s voice and translate it to a range of current and future products.

Candidates should be proficient in Photoshop, Canva, and Premier. After Effects knowledge is a plus. The role is remote-friendly and best suited to a strong collaborator who's just as comfortable working independently.

What you'll do:

• Edit videos for social platforms and YouTube
• Manage publishing schedule and content roadmap 
• Support all parts of the content creation process including script writing and researching
• Test new formats, launch new video series as Excel Dictionary expands
