Product Manager (Cloud Service)

ArangoDB is an open-source, highly scalable Graph Database with Multi-Model capabilities. It serves as the scalable backbone for Graph-Analytics and complex data architectures across many different industries. Developers can build high-performance applications using a convenient SQL-like query language or JavaScript extensions.

We also offer a managed cloud service, ArangoDB Oasis. Oasis provides fully hosted, managed, and monitored cluster deployments of the ArangoDB database on all major cloud providers for our clients.

Our goal is to make working with data easy. And because we want to make it simpler for others, we work on solving complex problems. We are looking for a Product Manager for Team Oasis.

Our headquarter is in San Francisco (US), our development hub is in Cologne (Germany) and our diverse team includes workmates at remote locations around the globe.

Your Role:

• You will be coordinating our roadmap for ArangoDB Oasis, which includes input from different stakeholders
• You will work closely with our Oasis Developers, Operation Engineers, and Customer Success Manager making sure our product delivers novel capabilities at the highest quality and user experience to our customers
• You will evaluate the overall market needs and directions and ensure ArangoDB Oasis delivers value on top

Your Skills:

• You have around 5 years of experience working on SaaS or cloud infrastructure products under your belt
• You are familiar with Kubernetes, developer toolings, the needs of the developers, and ideally also the database market
• One of your favorite things to do is communicating with and between different stakeholders such as customers, customer success, and highly skilled engineering teams
• It is not your first time using metrics and data analysis tools
• You are able to own a large and diverse portfolio of products and services
