Product Manager - Application Security

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and driving the development of Imperva’s Online Fraud Detection solution, which includes Advanced Bot Protection and Client-Side Protection. As part of the product team, you will be responsible for building products that protect customers’ applications from automated attacks without affecting the flow of business-critical traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the leadership team to develop the product vision and strategy.

Own planning and end-to-end execution of the roadmap, while working with business and engineering teams and keeping everyone abreast of the progress.

Work closely with Engineering, QA, Sales Engineering, Technical Support and Professional Services to capture product needs and requirements and create user stories.

Define KPIs, and operational marketing metrics for new features.

Collaborate with customers, prospects, partners as well as external/internal stakeholders to understand client needs to define and validate product requirements.

Provide guidance for the Product Marketing team on product capabilities and work with Sales Engineering, support, and technical writers to ensure that customer facing roles are trained on latest releases.

Understand the competitive landscape and monitor industry technology advancements and trends.

Must be comfortable in a remote working environment across international time zones.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in building successful enterprise software in an Engineering or PM role.

Thoroughly familiar with application security (AppSec) concepts including vulnerability identification and mitigation techniques.

Show the ability to learn and master new technologies quickly.

Have a good aptitude for dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty through creative problem solving.

Be experienced in partnering with engineering leadership teams.

Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, including product strategy, requirements definition, user experience design, engineering, QA and go to market.

Be self-motivated, highly responsible, and have outstanding communication skills.

Have a proven track record leading a cross-functional team to drive results.

Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent projects.

Thrive in a fast paced environment that can change direction quickly, while remaining outcome-driven.

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical field.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, other qualifications, and location.
