The Product Manager I is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the products, features, or modules they are assigned. The Product Manager I distills the product strategy into executable product roadmaps that increase the value of the products. The Product Manager I partners with technology, marketing, sales, and customer support as part of the product team to achieve improved results in the marketplace.

Manages the intake of new product enhancements requests and ideas ensuring that all accepted requests align with the overall product strategy defined. Declines any requests in a timely manner which do not align to the product strategy.

Creates epic and feature documentation and context of market problems to empower designers and developers to create the right solutions. Explains the use cases experienced by personas that create the problems to be solved. Defines the definition of done for epics and features.

Manages and refines assigned product backlogs ensuring prioritization is current and partners with Technical PO to provide details and context so that the squad can deliver the epic or feature.

Monitors and internally communicates key dates, progress, and checkpoints during delivery of the product initiative.

Participates in UAT activities to help validate user stories.

Participates in Product Strategy sessions as needed for assigned products and features.

Accountable for the creation of the product roadmaps necessary to deliver the product strategy. Engages with Product Line Leaders to review roadmap changes and validate the roadmap.

Acts as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the products and features they are responsible for. Provides market and solution information to support channel opportunities and activities including customer support, deep dive demos and production issue resolution.

Responsible for coordinating BCRD (Archer) responses for the products and partner solutions they are responsible for.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Creates and executes the product roadmap to deliver new products and features.

Create a clear and concise articulation of the market problems the product is intended to solve. Use that to drive all internal processes, from product approval to development to go-to-market.

Maintains partner or vendor operational contacts for associated product portfolio.
Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education. Pragmatic Certified Level II (minimum) – preferred.
The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is up to two (2) years.
General banking, FinTech related or digital banking experience required.
