We’re offering a position to bring Delivery Hero’s pricing capabilities to a new level.
Delivery Fees are one of the key levers of Delivery Hero on its path to profitability. As a central service, dynamic pricing is responsible for providing optimized Delivery Fees and other fee pricing mechanisms to its Platforms. The data science team is responsible for facilitating the decision making process of our pricing managers globally by developing smart automations, models and algorithms as well as generating insights that elevate capabilities of our pricing managers to the next level.
In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders, analysts and internal users to make pricing decisions in Delivery Hero smarter. Your experience in experimentation and analytics helps you to drive product iterations that are rooted in quantifiable insights and your deep understanding of users helps you to identify pain points, processes, practices that present opportunities for data science and automation models.
Manage a business critical product that calculates the optimal prices for delivering goods to millions of customers everyday
Prioritize and manage the work of a cross-functional development team in tandem with an Engineering Manager
Align Dependencies with your peers within the Dynamic Pricing Domain
Collaborate and communicate across the company and build consensus on the product roadmap
Manage expectations of stakeholders from 40+ countries and be transparent on progress and priorities
Stay current on trends, innovation, and competition in a fast-paced environment
Identify pricing opportunities and drive them in tandem with the pricing team
Drive product discoveries across multiple disciplines and facilitate decisions through your leadership
Must have
2+ years of experience in product management with a proven history of delivering results
Track record of successfully launching and constantly improving data-driven products
Ability to balance user needs with business priorities and provide a rationale behind your decisions
Fluent in English
Exceptional interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to identify MVPs that allow validation of business hypotheses
Experience writing comprehensive and easy to read product requirements documents
Experience in running AB tests and other types of experiments
Nice to have
Experience in pricing and demand steering challenges
Experience in working in a product with challenges involving algorithmic solutions, data-science models and heuristics
Working in the last mile delivery industry
Experience building and managing internal tools
Formulation and tracking of OKRs
Proficiency in SQL
