Product Manager, Learning Intelligence & Curriculum

Position Summary:
The Product Manager role at Transfr is key to the Company’s ability to build a product that meets the needs of the market. In this role, you define new market verticals and segments, collaborate with industry pioneers, conduct extensive market research and customer interviews, synthesize product requirements, and oversee the delivery of the products. This role is the primary liaison between Product/Engineering and the Curriculum and Learning Intelligence teams. The success of your role is measured by your ability to quickly deliver internal and external customer products and to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product vertical(s) strategy and roadmap through demand analyses by identifying potential early adopters and industry influencers and conducting interviews.
  • Organize product, development, and delivery requirements.
  • Define and prioritize learning and curriculum-related product requirements for the VR platform, customer dashboards, internal dashboards and infrastructure in collaboration with the Client Services, Curriculum, and Learning Intelligence teams.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of features.
  • Ensure customer feedback is evaluated and incorporated into the product before and after launch.
  • Assess the success of learning and curriculum related product features.
  • Coordinate and communicate both externally with customers and internally with team management and Client Services.
  • Work closely with sales enablement, marketing, and development teams to ensure product line goals are met. Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management (strongly preferred in a learning product/training development environment).
  • Experience defining and delivering on a product roadmap.
  • Experience working with agile engineering teams that develop web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence decisions and solutions at any level of an organization.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements.
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.
  • Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with creativity, independence and high standards. Self-starter able to drive results in a constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish objectives, identify problems, analyze data and creatively deliver solutions. Experience working in a fast paced, venture-backed SaaS startup environment.
  • Experience working with academic institutions and industry leaders is a plus.
  • CTE / Workforce training experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good sense of humor!
What we offer

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000,000 and $175,000, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role may be eligible for variable compensation and additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
