Product Marketing Director

At Anvyl we are on a mission to make bringing products to life easier. We believe everyone should be able to make the physical products they want to see in the world and no one should be left out because finding suppliers, scaling up production or paying for goods is too hard. So we’re building software where brands manage suppliers, oversee production, and track in-depth product data from procurement to delivery of inbound goods. It saves hours a day of manual work, reduces supply chain costs, and provides actionable data on supplier activity throughout sourcing, production, and the product lifecycle. These tools to fuel and empower the most important relationships you have - the ones with your suppliers.

The Director - Product Marketing will be responsible for identifying, assessing, quantifying, and recommending new potential markets, feature sets, partners, related competitive analysis, and product specification requirements. They will build business plans and models, related pricing and adoption techniques, and execute a go-to-market strategy (and tactics), collaborating with other Anvyl teams. The role reports to the VP – Marketing, and will deal extensively with the leaders and teams in the Product, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success groups, and the CEO.


What you’ll do:

  • Ongoing market and trend analysis, market demand, demand drivers, competitive analysis, and opportunity analysis – on a macro level and in the context of Anvyl’s ICP, target segments, and key persona definition. The role will also ensure the updating, testing, validating, quantifying Anvyl’s ICP, target segments, and key persona definition.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Executive teams to understand and define UVP for the Anvyl platform and develop and execute the strategy to communicate the positioning to key prospects and customer stakeholders via GTM plan.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Sales to translate the aforementioned into functional materials and training for those teams
  • With Product, create the Product Business and Launch Plans, including the development, implementation, and communication of the Go-to-Market, Pricing and Packaging, and Sales and Channel Strategies.
  • Design and execute market research relative to the aforementioned, as necessary, to execute plans successfully.
  • Gather, monitor, and regularly report market intelligence, continuously analyze competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree or focus in marketing, market research or product management. An MBA is preferred.
  • 4-6 years of work experience in marketing, product marketing within a tech/SaaS environment.
  • Success in a growth stage company is ideal. Working knowledge of marketing in a growth SaaS space is strongly desired; knowledge of Supply Chain Management is a plus.
