THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Product Marketing Manager at Xactly, you will be responsible for the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy and implementation for several key products in the portfolio. We are seeking an experienced product marketer and motivated team player who is passionate about product marketing in the hi-tech industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILL SET / QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of product marketing experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with comfort level presenting at webinars, conferences and industry events
Attention to detail and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into concise buyer-facing language
Strong knowledge of positioning and messaging for hi-tech, SaaS and cloud topics
Demonstrated ability to create and execute GTM strategies and deliverables such as positioning/messaging, pitch decks, sales playbooks, thought leadership content, social, emails, etc.
Critical thinking skills and inquisitive mindset for business and market analysis
Proven success working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and customer success teams to support company-wide alignment and ensure flawless execution
Experience with other types of marketing (content, field, demand gen, partner) or B2B sales is a plus
Self-motivated and able to set own direction
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL
Attend onboarding and get up to speed on who we are, what we do and how we do it
Familiarize yourself with our comprehensive company tech stack
Build relationships with internal business partners including product management, strategy, marketing and sales
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL
Have a strong understanding of our Intelligent Revenue Platform and the business challenges Xactly solves
Understand the customer's point of view and begin to position our solutions in a way that resonates with their needs
Begin to develop strategies to drive product positioning, product launches and GTM enablement for the products you manage
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL
Begin to implement the strategies that you have been developing over the past six months for the products you manage
Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor, making a significant positive impact company-wide
Begin to connect products/solutions to big picture themes, and deliver creative ideas to amplify the unique value and position of products
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL
Become a thought leader in the industry with customers, prospects and other influential stakeholders

The compensation range is specific to the posted job location and role and takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, performance, and market and peer comparisons. Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills and/or hones current skills. A reasonable range estimate is $99,000 to $125,000 and applicable bonus.
