We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who’s ready to jump in and help us shape how we go to market with our products. Blueboard is part SAAS and part consultative service, so varied B2B experience that lends perspective to a range of tactics is a huge plus. We are doing exciting work creating a new category of employee recognition and are looking for someone who’s eager to bring new ideas on how we can set ourselves apart and own our space. We are looking for someone who is infinitely curious and wants to dive in to understand all the nuanced needs of our HR and Sales buyers and is excited to work cross-functionally with people across the company to ensure that our intelligence is empowering for all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be ready to

  • Support the process of bringing new products to market in a B2B setting from identifying market opportunity to product launch and beyond. This includes research, enablement, and intelligence building to support strategy for cross-functional teams.
  • Create accessible paths to competitive intel by expanding our collection of competitive battlecards. Analyze competitors and bring actionable insights to all teams that rely on that intel. Be a resource for the entire growth team as an expert on how we show up in the market compared to others.
  • Analyze how we message around existing products and evolve that messaging for current needs of our core personas. Think bigger about how our current products should evolve to meet the needs of those people.
  • Support sales enablement and story building around our use cases to drive seller efficacy. Aid other teams in injecting market and customer insights into all of our marketing efforts by helping shape our holistic positioning, value proposition, and voice in a way that resonates with our core buyer.
Your Skills and Qualifications Include:
  • Communication and relationship-building skills that allow you to connect and collaborate with your peers to make product marketing magic happen.
  • A way with words. You write clearly and know how to convey ideas concisely but at your core you are a storyteller and you’re here to help everyone tell the best story.
  • Well-honed project management muscles that allow you to rally diverse stakeholders because you have a clear plan and smart action items. You’ve done this before and have some tactics up your sleeve for getting complex projects across the finish line.
  • Experience translating complex ideas into compelling narratives. You’re excited to work with people who are in the technical weeds on the product side as well as client and prospect teams and be the liaison between them.
  • A deep and tireless curiosity that keeps you coming back for more research into our buyer and our product. New learnings excite you and you can’t wait to get this intelligence into everyone else’s hands. You get energy out of explaining things to others.
  • A mind for data. You love to establish a theory with initial research and prove it out with numbers. You also know when to trust the data and when to get first-hand intel directly from the customer. In fact, you’ve worked on some customer, market, or product research projects and have some best practices to bring to the table.
  • Spent the majority of your career working in B2B roles and have spent time working specifically as a product marketer.
