Product Marketing Manager

Postscript is redefining marketing for ecommerce companies. By introducing SMS as an entirely new channel for ecommerce stores to engage, retain, and convert their customer base, brands are seeing huge ROI with Postscript. As Product Marketing Manager, you lead activities focused on driving product adoption and increasing usage across our key internal product usage metrics. And you will have responsibilities that rotate between positioning and messaging; to GTM strategy and execution; to product launches and campaigns; to field enablement. This important role will work cross-functionally at the intersection of product, marketing and our customer facing teams. Your impact on the business will be seen and felt both internally and externally. Given the growth of our customer base and lofty goals for 2022 and beyond, the scope of your activities is critically important to the company’s success.

All positions at Postscript are fully remote.

Primary duties

  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning in the marketplace. Tell the Postscript story well. Ensure that our story is well-defined, and memorable, and that it is represented on our website, in our product, and in customer communications.
  • Partner with Product to create adoption plans and lead programs to increase product usage.
  • Be the expert on our full customer base and implement integrated campaigns that resonate with each segment of customers.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product and design, and customer success to bring new use cases, features, and solutions to market.
  • Develop excellent collateral that our field teams consistently use. Partner closely with Revenue Enablement and across the GTM and Product teams to bring our value proposition to our customers.

What We’ll Love About You

  • 3+ years experience in product marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS context
  • Demonstrated understanding of a business with a high volume of customers (think in the thousands and soon to be 10s of thousands).
  • An expert project manager who has a track record of leading cross functional projects
  • Experience working with product teams and partnering on usage and product adoption metrics.
  • You’re a believer in SMS marketing - you must advocate for this being the most important channel for DTC marketers!
  • Experience with Pendo a plus
  • A passion for the ecommerce and ecommerce marketing is a plus
