for our rapidly growing digital commerce business, including Lakeshore’s B2C and B2I web and mobile sites as well as our mobile apps. This position is responsible for delivering business value and improved end-user experience for our digital products through feature and customer journey improvements, particularly in the areas of requirements-gathering and functional specs. The role requires understanding of user behavior to drive new opportunities and digital development, as well as experience with effective information architecture that improves SEO and makes it easy for users to find what they are looking for. You will focus on delivering incremental value by driving product changes and working closely with a cross-functional team that includes Product and Optimization/Testing, UX, Development, Commerce Ops, Creative, Analytics and other Business partners. And we’re here to help you succeed—Lakeshore recently earned its Great Place to Work® Certification™ and is proud to put its associates first.

A day in the office looks like this:

  • Drive innovation through insights—specifically, customer feedback, user behavior, data analysis, emerging technologies and market trends
  • Translate business goals and end-user and user-persona needs into product requirements, functional specs, use cases, and user flows and journeys
  • Develop and maintain information architecture and site maps for Lakeshore’s digital properties and help manage and organize content/pages/navigation and methods for understanding the interaction of users with those components
  • Identify pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies and value associated with features and enhancements, and drive updates to closure
  • Provide customers, cross-functional teams and business owners with an unparalleled omnichannel shopping experience
  • Work with rest of product management and UX to create effective user journeys, and create, prioritize and accept user stories, and incorporate them into release planning
  • Foster collaboration with team members (e.g., PMs, developers, UX, analysts) to drive value and accountability at a fast pace
  • Develop product strategies by understanding key business objectives; diagnose and map requirements; articulate solution risks and barriers; recommend project approaches; prepare time and cost estimates; help plan product release cycles
  • Participate in daily standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos and retrospectives
  • Present data-supported product solutions, objectives and KPIs to stakeholders

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in digital product ownership and product management
  • Experience with information architecture and intersection of product, analytics, user experience and discovery/findability (search, navigation, information and content structure) required
  • Web experience with Commerce on-prem or SaaS solutions, such as Oracle Commerce (ATG and Endeca), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), SAP Hybris and Magento a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others
  • Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities

Additional Information

And here’s our end of the bargain!

  • Salary: $75,000-$120,000 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
  • Paid leave for new parents to support work/life balance and family bonding
  • Excellent medical/dental and vision coverage—EPO, PPO and HSA
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution (because you will retire someday)
  • Flexible benefits—choose what you like, ignore the rest
