Product Owner - Mobile

As a Product Owner for the Homecare Homebase Mobile Team, you care about the details. Your blend of business and technical savvy, understanding of Homecare Homebase and our customer’s business objectives, and your drive to execute makes you successful.

Day to day, you are responsible for exploring and outlining the business needs of our users. That includes reading detailed regulations and requirements documentation, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth communication among your peer product management teammates.


Duties:

  • Create user stories and drive them through the elaboration, design, and estimation to prepare them for release planning
  • Product Backlog prioritization
  • Work directly with Stakeholders, as needed, to gather and validate requirements
  • Makes recommendations to be used as guidance in decision making pertinent to the business’s new as well as existing products
  • Work with User Experience (UX) Designers to validate solution concepts through user research, user testing and prototyping exercises with internal and external Stakeholders
  • Develops or adopts research tools, sources, and methods that further support and contribute to mobile product marketing management
  • Measures and monitors mobile app feature adoption and performance
  • Undertakes exploratory data analysis by understanding what data exists, importing it, cleaning it, and asking tons of questions
  • Maintaining and facilitating Agile ceremonies (such as Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into plain and unambiguous English
  • Ability to synthesize complex research findings
  • 2+ years’ experience working within a product function
  • An ambitious, innovative self-starter with curiosity and passion
  • Ability to self-manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years mobile application development
  • Home Health, Hospice/Palliative industry experience
  • Working with Agile teams, Identity Management, APIs and cross product services and initiatives
  • Familiarity with roadmap and Agile Project Management tools (e.g. Aha, JIRA, ADO etc.)

Other Requirements :

  • This position may require occasional travel to customer and non-customer sites
  • HCHB requires all applicants to be US citizens or have a green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions
