Business Unit – Principal Analyst
Location: Office / Hybrid / Remote options available depending on location and preference. Our UK office is in Manchester.
The Business Unit (BU) Principal Analyst is a pivotal post-IPO addition to the Finance team and will partner with BU Finance Directors (FD) to drive tangible value for e2Open and its customers. This individual will work with a broad global cross-functional group to drive improved decisions and exceptional results through timely and proactive financial and operational analysis. Job Description
- Partner with Business Unit FD to support critical FP&A activities: budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L analysis and reporting.
- Provide detailed maintenance and analysis of BU P&L by leveraging Adaptive Insights and NetSuite to manage Revenue, Headcount, and Operating Expenses.
- Partner with and support the FD with contracts reviews, commissions review, sales pipeline management, forecasting and other Sales Operations needs.
- Engage in metrics based Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy discussions with BU leaders to drive top line growth.
- Prepare relevant Financial Reporting requirements – Budget vs Actual analysis, Revenue schedules, Subscription (SAAS) and Professional Services Metrics.
- Partner with the FD to prepare in-depth monthly and quarterly BU financial reporting decks and present to the Executive Team.
- Execute ad-hoc projects that enable efficiencies and enhance overall Company performance.
- Research and resolve BU inquiries as assigned.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS) from a college or university in a business-related field (Finance or Accounting preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years related experience - SAAS Industry, Corporate FP&A, and MNC preferred.
- Requires the analytical ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret financial information and transactions in order to solve complex problems.
- High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with and influence multiple stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, the Executive team and other External Departments.
- Advanced level of Excel required. Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Requires strong work ethic and a keen ability to set and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal customers.
- Experience with software and financial systems, such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning (fka Adaptive Insights), Salesforce and OpenAir is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with organizational change is preferred in order to support the BU and Company in its organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
