Job Description


Intel is on a journey to embrace an internal foundry model, not only for our external customer commitments but also for our Intel product lines and to improve our Product Data Management tools and processes. The Supply Chain IT group within the Intel IT business segment for this team has a vision of a connected, scalable and flexible PDM foundation to support all products into the future. We are looking for a motivated, organized and high energy Chief Product Owner who will lead our teams in transforming Intel's Product Data Management capabilities. The responsibilities/behaviors for this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain product roadmap that reflects business needs, future development priorities, and company goals.
  • Identify needs by interacting with the business community, suppliers, and by keeping current on industry trends and best practices
  • Ensure backlog queue is well defined, prioritized based on business value and ROI, socialized, communicated and recorded in an Agile toolset (Jira)
  • Work with team leads to ensure functional requirements are complete, translated into technical requirements and the user stories are ready for development
  • Perform business and technical analysis with subject matter experts and internal customers to refine MVP and Release goals
  • Identify new opportunities and product enhancements
  • Work with Application team and QA to define acceptance tests for features
  • Monitor progress and provide reports on product strategy and direction
  • Prioritize scope for Release Planning, scheduling backlog items into regular releases aligned to business priority
  • Collaborate with business process and solution architects to identify upstream, downstream or other product related dependencies
  • Collaborate with direct and virtual teams in business and IT to drive the best solution optimized for Intel from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and willing to collaborate well and work cross functionally within the organization
  • Knowledge to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Operate as an individual contributor to get the job done; at the same time be able to guide a team toward an objective


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field or equivalent experience.

10+ years in IT solution delivery; experienced in Waterfall and Agile development methodology working with global teams or 5+ years working in positions involving stakeholder management, product/program management with strong technical and domain knowledge:

  • Experience with Intel IT landscape in the supply chain, planning, product data management domain for semiconductor industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work across a globally diverse set of teams and customers
  • Demonstrated skills to elicit and analyze requirements, design innovative solutions, and communicate effectively to the Product Owner and tech team as needed
  • A self-starter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to learn and apply
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills to apply towards tangible data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause/analyses
  • Strategic and business value driven mindset to plan, prioritize and influence customers and partners
  • Proven success in establishing and delivering large scale transformational programs with complex TCM
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and objectives simplification to enable and empower teams working on several projects simultaneously
  • Background in supply chain
  • Planning BOM experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PDM systems like OCPLM, SPEED
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (like Scaled Agile Framework - aka SAFe, SCRUM, etc)
  • Excellent Jira and Jira Align knowledge.

This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $127,260.00-$203,620.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
