Production Artist

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear is looking to add a Production Artist to our creative team! Are you an Adobe ninja with a broad range of skills that can turn concepts into creative? If so, Sweetwater is looking to talk to you! As part of our expanding Marketing department, . In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating production artwork for a variety of projects ranging from national to local promotions on a variety of print and digital elements. You’ll work alongside our ace creative team in a production role turning approved concepts into consumer-facing creative through a gamut of materials. This is a fast-paced role that will allow the right Designer to hone their skills and work alongside national-quality Art Directors and Designers. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic mixed with a strong desire to learn and hone their craft.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce production artwork in accordance with marketing and creative design team
• Collaborate and coordinate projects with creative team
• Create unique and exciting new creative content to meet the needs of all marketing clientele
• Balance multiple creative projects at once.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar production role preferred

Qualifications:

• Proficient and adept in CC 2015 (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
• Meticulous attention to specifics and details
• Healthy understanding of production/printing techniques
• Personal organization necessary for working in a fast-paced corporate environment
• Quickly interpret client's expectations into purposeful, effective graphics and layout
• Has a good handle on hierarchy, fonts and typography
• Positive attitude and eagerness to develop technical skills
• Ability juggle multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong graphic designing and artistic skills
