The Role

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing of medical devices in accordance with the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) at our medical device fulfillment center located in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is also responsible for production planning, ensuring adequate inventory levels according to forecast , audit readiness, implementing all established standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring orders are processed timely. In addition, you will work closely with the Quality Control team ensuring proper documentation, manufacturing quality performance reviews and record-keeping in accordance with company guidelines. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Pharmacy Strategy and Process.

What You’ll Do:

    • Responsible for ensuring the manufacturing of medical devices in accordance with the most up-to-date company SOPs, FDA and GMP guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team for audit compliance and readiness.
    • Create a production plan to meet manufacturing forecasts.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and recommend metrics for manufacturing and production monitoring.
    • Establish goals for manufacturing and productivity.
    • Work with Supply Chain to maintain inventory levels and make recommendations when stock levels are low.
    • Ensure material requirement planning software, Netsuite, is used according to SOP’s and production volumes are added timely.
    • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives.
    • Ensures the employees safety and appropriate use of equipment for manufacturing and warehouse operations.

What You’ll Bring:

    • Experience managing a team of people.
    • Experience in implementing and validating cGMP processes.
    • Experience working in a high volume regulated facility.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with material requirement planning process and software.
    • Experience with medical devices inventory management.
    • Ability to support logistics receiving and shipping product.
    • Prior experience with pallet jacks, stock pickers and/or forklifts.

Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
