Webasto is seeking highly motivated candidates that take pride in their work and strive to be the best to join our team as a Production Operator at our brand-new manufacturing facility in New Hudson, MI. In this role you will be responsible for operating machinery and assembling products with consistent speed and accuracy while maintaining production standards and without compromising safety or quality.

We have openings on our B Crew! (6PM-4:30AM, Tuesday- Friday)

$1.00 per hour shift differential for B Crew

What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

• Operation of a small number of machines and workstations within a production line according to work instructions, including applicable Quality and HSE guidelines
• Removal of products from the machines - Assembly of components - Monitoring of processes, inspection of quality/safety characteristics
• Escalation of any detected concerns and problems (Quality and Safety) in line with escalation procedures
• Performing workstation 5S activities and total production maintenance (TPM) in line with standard operating procedures
• Involvement in continuous improvement process

When you will work

B Crew

• Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential
• Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (+required daily OT and/or OT on Saturday, Sunday or Monday)

The minimum requirements you will need

• Results-oriented team player, excellent attendance, high energy level and good attention to detail
• Must be able to work required hours
• Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be cross trained on various processes, machines and products

Our preferred requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and correspondence such as safety rules and operating instructions preferred, but not required
