What You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Proficient in Retail Packaging operations, including making adjustments to retail machines, basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Bais understanding of WMS (weight management systems)
  • Understanding of products pecs and rework procedures.
  • Acquires applicable chemical training for successful performance of chemical foaming/application(s)
  • Acquire OSC (Ocean Spray Cranberry) Forklift certification
  • Responsible for the completion of Master Sanitation
  • Accountable for the accurate completion of quality, safety and Plant compliance documentation
  • Operate all screens on human-machine interface (HMI)
  • Work within established quality procedures and standards to ensure food safety
  • Operate PLC screens
  • Make adjustments to retail machines, including changing web and zipper, aligning punch holes, seal bars, top edge alignment, adjusting tension on feed rolls, turning on/set height of printer, changing tape and gasket of seal bars.
  • Complete basic maintenance of retail machines including checking cooling bar fluid, adjusting clamps for bag size, cleaning scale faults, assembling/disassembling scale, performing integrity testing, adjusting hanger notcher/tear notcher.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Performa machine preventative maintenance
  • Basica maintenance troubleshooping
  • Safe forklift operation
  • Navigate control screens
  • Trending software
  • Scanner program/WMS and Potentially SAP
  • Word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail software (Microsoft Office)
