Production Supervisor- Foundry

AS A 2ND SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL:

• Maintain production to achieve company goals within acceptable scrap levels
• Maintain and enforce safety program for the production department; review safety records to uphold company policies to ensure a safe environment for all employees
• Develop melt personnel while encouraging a team environment
• Ensure and audit 5s+1 policies in the department
• Work with the team to ensure the department has materials needed
• Evaluate performance of staff
• Provide leadership and administer company rules, regulations, union rules and policies

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a foundry
• Minimum of three years’ supervisor experience in a maintenance environment
• A high school diploma is required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good leadership and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Available to work weekends, as necessary, to support production
