The program director provides leadership and management of all aspects of an academic program by providing discipline-specific expertise, supervising staff and faculty members, addressing students' needs, and maintaining a required teaching load.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Maintain an annual teaching load according to Baker College's Teaching and Workload Policy
• Schedule and staff program courses
• Supervise and conduct curriculum development and revision as needed
• Attend campus and system program meetings
• Advise students and participate in new student orientations
• Serve as the contact for the program; organize and lead program advisory board
• Conduct program assessment & make continuous improvement

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's Degree from accredited institution in a related field required
• Holds an unrestricted PT license in the state of Michigan
• Experience in leadership position within higher education, preferred
• Demonstrated competency in discipline-specific knowledge and performance skills required
• Minimum of five years (or equivalent), full-time, post licensure experience that includes a minimum of three years (or equivalent) of full-time clinical experience
• Didactic and/or clinical teaching experience
• Knowledgeable in Learning Management System (Canvas)
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
