The program manager, principal is the master juggler for the internal creative department's projects and tasks. You are an expert project navigator, unpacking and assessing briefs & deliverables, time keeper for milestones and deadlines, key informant to communicate important decisions and details, and facilitator across partner stakeholders and the internal creative department teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement effective project management processes to ensure projects are completed on time and with best-in-class quality

  • Create project plans and design schedules that achieve milestones throughout the entire lifecycle of each project

  • Assess Creative & Dev team resources to ensure each project is "cast" with the best resources available

  • Vet project calendars with creative team + stakeholders and negotiate milestones for reviews and delivery

  • Assess project intake materials (from detailed briefs to simple task requests) for completeness; push for clarity and ask questions

  • Lead project milestone meetings; provide action oriented, detailed recaps to working group and partners, so team is informed on meeting outcomes & next steps

  • Get ahead of and troubleshoot issues that may impact the successful delivery of a project. Keep a bird's eye view on the flow of tasks, stepping in when necessary to address/remove blockers

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders leveraging key competencies to successfully negotiate project timelines, requirements, etc.

  • Reinforce the rituals of creatives working on agile pods, joining the sprint planning sessions to get full understanding of bi-weekly scope, then make team adjustments as needed (for now CRM. In the future, DM and B2B)

  • Evangelize and help team adopt tools and processes


What You Bring:


The ideal candidate will have experience as a lead project manager for an in-house agency, marketing department or full-service agency.

CANDIDATES WITH PMP CERTIFICATION WILL RECEIVE TOP CONSIDERATION.

  • Bachelor's degree. PMP certification preferred

  • 12+ years as a project manager leading complex projects with multiple phases and deliverables

  • Expert level experience with sophisticated project workflow tools like Asana, Workfront, etc.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget

  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate everything from simple to complex concepts, good and bad news, gives and takes for successful project delivery

  • Ability to motivate and inspire working teams and individuals towards success

  • Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks in accordance with urgency and complexity

  • High level of confidence in making decisions independently or within a collaborative setting

  • Skilled ability to keep composure during high stress or challenging situations

  • Creative problem solver to foresee, troubleshoot and recommend solutions

  • Experience working with distributed / multi-office teams

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

Salary Range for select office locations

  • New York $165,050 to $235,150

  • Santa Clara $182,000 to $259,400

  • Westlake Village $165,050 to $235,150

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
