Description

The Lenovo Trusted Supplier Program (TSP) assesses the Security practices of our suppliers and approves suppliers for use in Lenovo products. The TSP team comprises of a global team including the Program Manager, Supplier Analysts, and Supplier Auditors. The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the program.

The Program Manager will also be responsible for guiding the improvement of the program over time, through implementing, and refining processes, procedures, tools, and guidelines.

Tasks will include:

  • Serve as the strategic leader for the Trusted Supplier Program
  • Determine which suppliers are required to participate in the TSP
  • Support the TSP Analysts in the technical assessment of suppliers’ security processes and in the negotiation of Security Contracts with Suppliers
  • Support the TSP Auditors in selecting suppliers for audit, carrying out the audits, and working with suppliers to improve their security practices
  • Present TSP status to leadership
  • Maintain TSP governance and process documentation
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Provide ongoing TSP training and support to all Lenovo business groups
  • Audit Lenovo business groups for compliance to the TSP periodically
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Manage requirements for TSP Tools
  • Monitor relevant business changes in Lenovo, industry practices and legal requirements and adapts the Program accordingly

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a commercial and technical environment
  • Program and leadership experience
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong sense of task ownership, and persistence to manage and execute processes from beginning to end
  • Strong computer skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other office tools

Preferred Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Program Management, Project Management and/or leadership role in a technical environment
  • Some understanding of security practices as they relate to product security and development
  • Good understanding of the Lenovo organization and ability to successfully work across regions and functions to solve problems and get things done
  • Familiarity with Lenovo product lines
  • Experience working with outside agencies such as Suppliers or Customers
  • Specific experience related working smartly using Excel and other tools to track data and to create reports and presentations
