Outbrain is seeking a results-driven and highly analytical Programmatic Business Operations Manager for our Programmatic department. The Programmatic Business Operations Manager will be the ambassador of Outbrain’s Programmatic Access for demand partners, working with account managers, sales, product, and operations teams globally to maintain revenue growth and increase product adoption.

A day in the life
  • Act as the “programmatic ambassador” for internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a deep understanding of programmatic trading technologies and the RTB bid stream.
  • Support global business teams to improve and increase activity around Programmatic buying of Outbrain inventory.
  • Provide performance insights and identify trends through deep analysis, utilizing BI, and a variety of tech tools, and platforms.
  • Take ownership of the Programmatic Revenue and growth targets while seeking new opportunities to increase programmatic activity.
  • Be a contributor, from a business and product perspective to the ongoing process of solidifying the technical flow and business aspects.

What you’ll bring
  • 2 years of experience in Ad-tech/Mar-tech- MUST
  • At least 1 year of Hands-On experience with Programmatic Technologies in place, such as RTB, DSPs, SSPs, and DMPs - Advantage
  • Experience supporting or working directly with brands and agency clients - Major advantage
  • 1 year of experience running campaigns on large and known DSPs (such as Xandr, DV360, The Trade Desk, and more) - Major Advantage
  • Experience using Outbrain Amplify Platform - Advantage
  • A highly analytical person who enjoys working with large sets of data, including advanced usage of Excel, Google Sheets, and BI Platforms. (SQL - Major advantage)
  • Prior experience in client/partner-facing roles from global ad-tech companies - Advantage
  • Ability to combine highly technical skills with relationship-building skills to be able to provide both analysis and business insights.
  • Ability to be a Project Owner, working simultaneously on multiple projects and delivering results while maintaining routine tasks.
  • Ability to perform in a multifaceted role - Comfortable in a position that requires a breadth of experience and skillsets, from working with multiple internal teams to presenting Slide Shows to management.
  • A natural team player who has an inclusive approach but also the ability to make key decisions based on experience.
  • Independent and proactive, managing multiple priorities with excellent interpersonal skills, and able to reach out to key stakeholders for assistance.

The annual pay range for this position is $70,000.00-$84,000.00. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
