Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) is a dynamic security firm innovating threat assessment and public figure protection. Our mission aims to protect and enhance the lives of those we serve, including many of the world's most influential people. From media figures and corporations and universities, GDBA stands on the front line of the assessment, prediction and management of violence.
We are looking for a project manager to lead our event planning and marketing operations. Prior applicable experience is necessary. This position requires residency in Los Angeles, CA.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a working relationship with vendors and venues.
- Interact with potential clients and serve as an ambassador to the company.
- Understand the complex needs of different events and diverse clients.
- Plan events from start to finish including venue selection, budget management, attendee lists, seating diagrams, agendas, etc.
- Create detailed project plans and stay on-track with deadlines and budgeting.
- Liaise with creative teams and subject matter experts to create marketing collateral.
- Ability to delegate event-planning tasks to other staff members when necessary.
