Project Coordinator

Transmission Strategy & Resource Qualification mainly focuses on the business and technical side of the Interconnection Procedures for new generators and elective transmission upgrade projects as well as qualifying those resources for the Forward Capacity Market to help build our fleet.

How you will make an Impact

We are looking for an energetic and detail oriented person to assist project developers in developing interconnection agreements, study agreements and other tasks to help projects manuever through the interconnection process. This will involve coordinating efforts of various ISO departments as well as Transmission Owners. This will entail assisting on multiple projects in various phases of the interconnection process.

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or technical discipline, is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding team player with strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to flexibly change work assignments based upon shifting priorities.
  • Must be able to rapidly learn and perform tasks.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be able to coordinate study team efforts to ensure projects keep moving forward so that deadlines are met
  • Ability to resolve project issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays.
  • Attention to detail to be able to prepare ad hoc reports for senior management and FERC.
