Project Engineer

You will provide project management and technical expertise to support projects from quotation through shipment. Support sales personnel, customers, engineers, and technicians to win orders and ensure timely delivery of products and services. Selected candidate can be located in McKinney, TX, Sterling Heights, MI, or East Dundee, IL.

AS A PROJECT ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Lead plastic and metal welding projects for customers across a variety of industries including automotive parts, medical devices, electronic components
• Communicate and align with adjacent functions to achieve project goals
• Communicates and coordinates 3rd party collaborate with vendors or construction contractors on commercial as well as technical related project requirements
• Develop and present customer proposals
• Host customer visits to review designs, hold equipment weld trials and production simulation runs, as assigned
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent years of experience in customer project management and industrial manufacturing sales processes, including technical consultation and multi-functional collaboration

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and customer engagement
• Background in plastics, automotive, electronics, or medical device industry
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Access
• Understanding of CRM (Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)
• PMI certification
