The National Space Training and Test Complex (NSTTC) is the DoD's only Space Range located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The NSTTC ensures safe and secure operations and provides its customers with realistic space environment to support test, training, and exercise activities. The 25th Space Range Squadron (25SRS) supports customers to plan test, training, or exercise for electronic warfare events.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Perform as mission planning coordinator for the 25SRS which is comprised of engineers and technicians to support external EW users as related to the operations and test events on the NSTTC. Support to the NSTTC ensures safe and secure operations and provides its customers with a realistic space environment to support test, training, and exercise activities. Coordinates range time and assets for events, exercises and test program objectives and data requirements with project officer/test director and applicable systems for each event and assists in eliminating conflicts between differing priorities of range operations.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have a Bachelor's or higher degree or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to 10 years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments. Possess knowledge of project management fundamentals and working knowledge of systems engineering processes that complement project management. Must be able to demonstrated knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Incumbent must qualify for and maintain a government Security Clearance and possess a valid State driver's license.SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $86,000 to $132,000 annually.
