The National Space Training and Test Complex (NSTTC) is the DoD's only Space Range located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The NSTTC ensures safe and secure operations and provides its customers with realistic space environment to support test, training, and exercise activities. The 25th Space Range Squadron (25SRS) supports customers to plan test, training, or exercise for electronic warfare events.

JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Perform as mission planning coordinator for the 25SRS which is comprised of engineers and technicians to support external EW users as related to the operations and test events on the NSTTC. Support to the NSTTC ensures safe and secure operations and provides its customers with a realistic space environment to support test, training, and exercise activities. Coordinates range time and assets for events, exercises and test program objectives and data requirements with project officer/test director and applicable systems for each event and assists in eliminating conflicts between differing priorities of range operations.

• Responsible for planning various events and exercises of multiple systems and programs associated with EW operations.
• Demonstrate through knowledge and application, a firm understanding of 25SRS system-level operations, system architecture, and system interfaces.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of various NSTTC mission support processes and procedures to include, but not limited to evaluating PID/SOCs, Operations Requests, Operational Directives, Range Control Plans and CONOPS.
• Planning 25SRS support for test, training, and exercises from simple training events to complex COCOM exercises involving multiple customers and deployment sites.
• Integrating planning efforts across the NSTTC enterprise
• Select appropriate range system solutions based on capabilities and limitations to align to customer requirements.
• Communicate with clarity and candor to ensure successful execution of events which meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.
• Providing operational support to the 25SRS as a crewmember in the positions of range director and range-control officer.
• Coordinating activities conducted on the 25SRS using the universal documentation system.
• Support training of new range personnel.
• Participate in acquisition process on new 25SRS systems to provide operational perspective. Activities include requirements input/review, design review, test, training, and system documentation.
• Assist Project and/or /Program Managers with the daily conduct of large project/program activities involving Project tasks.
• Performs other related Project assignments as requested.

SALARY

The expected salary range for this position is $86,000 to $132,000 annually.

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
