We are seeking an experienced technology project manager with experience working in financial industry to lead all aspects of the planning, implementation and tracking of projects in Risk, Performance and Business Intelligence technology group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and experience working closely with partners to ensure that projects are completed on time, and to the desired quality standard. This role requires experience in delivering complex solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will also be able to provide business analysis support in the areas of risk and PnL.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project plans and timelines.
Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals.
Work closely and effectively with business analyst and development team to deliver on project goals.
Identify and handle risks, issues and dependences.
Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to collaborators.
Ensure project results meet the required quality standards.
See opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as appropriate.
Use data to drive different aspect of the project
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or relates fields
10+ years of experience managing and delivering technology projects in financial industry
Experience in delivering projects in Risk and PnL space is a plus
Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile project management and methodologies
Experience working in asset management is a plus
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 150,000.00 - $ 225,000.00
