Project Manager, Companion Diagnostic Development, Precision Medicine
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work with the Diagnostic Leadership team, developing comprehensive project plans identifies key Dx deliverables for each function and their inter-dependencies. Responsibilities include:

Diagnostic joint project team decision log, meeting minutes, budget, forecast

Diagnostic development timelines paired with the clinical development plans, working with the Diagnostic strategy and technical leads, and clinical operation leads

Facilitates planning for diagnostic development and commercialization activities that support key drug development stage-gate decision points (e.g., First in Human, End of Phase 2, Filing, and Launch)

Manage the SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to centralize information, planning, and budget
-
Implements standard methodologies and ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability

Identifies project issues or resource gaps and facilitating resolution

Reinforces proper decision making according to Amgen’s Decision-Making Framework

Monitors and communicates progress and adherence to diagnostic development timelines

Facilitates resource planning, financial and capacity assessment

Leads review and execution of Diagnostic development budget, processing of invoices, purchase orders, contracts, statements of work

The Diagnostic Project Manager leads the team effectiveness by: Identifying and efficiently resolving issues, facilitating decisions, and tracking action items; appropriate issue escalation

Partners with senior leadership team to develop governance board deliverables and subsequent implementation of decisions

Develops positive relationships with external business partners and strategic alliances

Drives effective communication by:

Serves as a point of contact for cross-functional information (content and quality)

Communicates cross-functional project information at meetings and to other partners, as appropriate
-
Demonstrates strong written / oral communication skills and executive presence across functions and across different levels of leadership.

Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of related experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related Or Associate’s degree and 10 years of related experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of related experience

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $106,343 - $125,000.
