Project Manager ERP Consultant- TEMPORARY

ClearVision Optical is looking for a remote temporary Project Manager to support the full life cycle of the brand-new implementation of an ERP program within the organization.

The Project Manager will address business challenges through the use of technology applications. This position will require critical analysis to increase efficiency and provide business intelligence. The PM will be expected to ascertain what is involved in the issue, explore relevant technology solutions, and identify recommendations. Solution development will require interdepartmental research and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Experience leading IT implementations which include multiple workstreams and inputs.
• To use past implementation experience to guide stakeholders, and/or offer alternative options.
• Maintain scope as documented by stakeholders, identify what is out of scope, lead sessions to decide if proposed new scope should be included.
• Project Management track record of leading and managing projects within the triangle of project management: resources, time, scope
• Must be able to manage deadlines, timeline, and budget.
• Ability to lead and drive requirements sessions, design sessions, testing strategy and ongoing change management.
• Quality communication skills to escalate the most important information to stake holders.
• Familiarity with OCM best practices
• Understanding of project management tools – risk, issues, decision logs, testing software or ability to create those tools from Excel.
• Manager budgets, trackers, pivot tables, potentially Macros in Excel.
• Test resources and create a list of test scenarios, document each step, and prepare end testers.
• Understand how to remediate errors in testing.
• Create and roll out a communications and execution plan for stakeholders and end users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in relevant field. Project Management certification (PMP, Six Sigma etc.) preferred.
• 7+ years experience with a proven track-record in managing business and IT projects.
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Experience with IT implementation methodologies across all phases of Initiating/Planning, Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance.
• Have successfully delivered large projects, supported workstreams of other projects, and have executed multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to work closely with key business stakeholders to communicate progress and vision.
• Skilled in allocating the correct resources to each project phase and monitoring their performance.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to change and adapt to meet business needs.
