Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Sephora success by providing planning, project management, financial oversight and execution in open store projects while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in delivering the Sephora experience in our stores. Manages and supports the internal and external teams working collaboratively throughout the process.


Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • Develops scope of work consistent with operational needs and budget allowances on various capital enhancement projects including fixture rollouts.
  • Oversee communication of enhancement project schedule and scopes of work to impacted stores with the support of Operations and Store Communication partners. Support in the creation of educational materials for the stores on each enhancement project. 360 communication on changes as needs arise.
  • Create and communicate all project materials (ie. scope of work, project folders, project dashboards, execution schedule etc.) to fixture installers and general contractors for each project. Includes support through planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Supports Manager, Store Transformation with capital project bid documents, preparing, processing, recording, and contracting based on results.
  • Maintains, adjusts, and updates project plans as needed. Consolidates, communicates, and manages all issues and risks affecting projects. Communicates project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time
  • Monitors fixture installation contractor, general contractor and other vendors (i.e. guard, etc.) performance during enhancement projects. Supports follow-up and punch lists at various levels for capital enhancement projects.
  • Visits jobs as needed to perform due diligence and monitor quality. Addresses concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on any outstanding issues.
  • Supports Store Development and Operations goals by participating and contributing to planning and strategy meetings.
  • Plans and manages fixturing processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
  • Works with internal departments to improve processes and tools in support of capital enhancement and merchandising initiatives of existing stores.
  • Supports development and maintenance of shared databases, workspaces, etc. to improve project detail communication and cross-functional access to historical information.
  • Manage store project work requests, communicate with stores, follow up with vendors and invoice approvals through the work request portal (HLOL).

  • Enhancement Rollouts
  • Capital Improvements


Process Development/Management

  • Develop programs and documents to support onboarding new team members and contractors
  • Develop training materials to provide easy access to high-level information needed by partners
  • Support partners in the use of select project management software-based schedules and project documentation (Smartsheet, Box.com)


The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
