Job Title :: Senior Project Manager

Job Location :: Sacramento, CA, (Remote is an option)

Position Description ::

Mandatory Qualifications:

• M1 - Five (5) years of FTE experience of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible project management (PM) experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
• M2 - Three (3) years of FTE experience in a Project Manager lead capacity
• M3 - Three (3) years of FTE experience working/managing the project through the system development lifecycle.
• M4 - Bachelor’s Degree. Additional qualifications may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• M5 - Hold and maintain a Project Management Institute Project Management Professional Certified Practitioner certificate for the duration of the contract.
• M6 – 1+ year of public sector experience specially with a state government.
• M7 – 1+ Year of experience providing project management services for the healthcare industry.

Desired Qualifications:

• D1 - Have a valid SAFe Agilist certificate or Scrum Master certificate.
• D2 - Experience with system modernization experience with medi-cal or behavioral health.

Responsibilities:

• The requested Project Manager will work with the program to manage the project to establish a robust compliance and monitoring for Medi-Cal system and support the workload attributed to the new requirements and expectations.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading teams to develop projects which are essential.
• The Project Managers will possess knowledge and experience in all areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as well as soft skills such as: organization, time management, customer service, decision making, leadership, organizational awareness, problem solving, reasoning, team building, oral and written communication.
• The Project Managers will provide leadership to all project management phases (Waterfall/Agile), to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products and services.

Salary: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
