In this role, the Project Manager is responsible for driving collaborative efforts across multiple teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met, overseeing quality control throughout projects life cycle in accordance with company quality standards and ensuring stakeholders are informed throughout the process.
The Project Manager will report to the VP of Technology, Enterprise Business Systems. You’ll join our Internal Systems group and collaborate a team with of individuals who work heavily with IT related projects.
You will plan, organize, and execute complex application development and infrastructure projects.
The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Directing and managing the development of IT projects from inception to completion.
- Assigning and overseeing the daily tasks of technical personnel, while ensuring all other team members are actively working toward established milestones.
- Facilitating the definition of project’s scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Working with product managers and department leads to obtain estimates for level of effort and to communicate this to various levels of management.
- Planning and scheduling project timelines, identifying and managing resource allocation and budget, and tracking project deliverables and milestones.
- Facilitating requirements review and leading project/sprint planning.
- Consistently demonstrating ability to oversee multiple technology-based projects of the team, SMEs and developing internal and external relationships.
- Effectively communicating expectations and project progress using metric driven reports to team members and both business and technology stakeholders in a timely fashion.
- Managing vendors and consultants by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Understanding business requirements, actively monitoring project scope, enforcing Change Request process, and identifying risks/devise mitigation plan.
- Preparing for engagement reviews, facilitating execution of quality assurance procedures and coordinating user acceptance tests.
- Conducting project meetings, evaluations and assessment of results.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in information technology related field required.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a fast pace environment, Business Analyst experience a plus
- Experience in agile model application development PM capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ISVs a plus.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
ASI currently has a hybrid work model. All employees, who live within a one hour commuting distance, are required to work onsite on Wednesdays.
