Responsibilities

What  you’ll be doing.

As a Junior Software Engineer at Prompt you will be making a difference to the platform everyday. Being a startup with a thoroughly developed road-map and scheduled feature releases, the fun never stops. You will likely spend most of your time working with Product, UX, and Engineering teams creating new features. You will be expected to:

•  Work with senior engineers to create technical specifications for upcoming features

• Participate in engineering grooming sessions and assist with feature development estimations

•  Learn from and be mentored by experienced engineers

•  Contribute to the development of new features for the Product 

• Participate in the Code Review process

•  Engage in Design Reviews, Product Retrospectives, and other team-based ceremonies 

Qualifications

What this role requires.

• 1-3 years of software development experience with a focus on Full Stack web development.

•  Good communication skills and the ability to express your thoughts and decisions clearly

•  Desire to contribute to the growth of the product, team, and direction of Prompt Therapy Solutions Inc. 

•  Enterprise engineering and MVC architecture experience is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of the technologies listed below

• Please have a basic working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue.JS, and MySQL or any equivalent (Ruby, Node.JS, React, Angular, Ember, Postgres, MSSQL, etc.) 

• Please apply if you are interested in a hands-on coding role as we are not looking for engineering managers at this time, although growth opportunities may be available in the future.
