We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in a similar environment who understands the needs of engineers across multiple technical disciplines. Our ideal candidate has a background as an engineer in one or more of these areas before transitioning into management: Software Development, DevOps & Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Software Testing/QA, or Internal Technical Support.


Our tech stack: Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy), Angular, PostgreSQL/Aurora, RabbitMQ, Docker, AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift. 


What'll you do :
  • Manage the "sourcing and fulfillment" team, which handles the sourcing and order fulfilment process for the platform 
  • Work closely with the team to ensure timely and accurate shipping to delivery of orders to customers, and optimize the sourcing process to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness 
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of engineering projects, and providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help teams achieve their goals and objectives 
  • Through your leadership, you will foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation within the engineering organization, and ensure that teams are operatingin accordance with the company's values and goals 
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring and building a strong engineering team, and collaborating with other engineering managers to identify and implement best practices and standard methodologies across the organization 


What it takes :
  • 5+ years of experience managing a cross functional team  
  • Experience in a leadership role in a product company, technical startup or scaleup 
  • Ability to foster an autonomous working environment by implementing a strong vision, providing guidance, and acting as the bridge between product and tech
  • Experience with a similar Technical stack to the one described above is bonus 
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture of a complex and scaling system architecture
