Director of Technical Documentation

Pulumi is seeking a Director of Technical Documentation to lead efforts in educating the community on infrastructure as code best practices and ensuring effective use of the Pulumi platform. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams and the opportunity for continuous learning.

Skills

Technical writing experience
Team management skills
Knowledge of cloud technologies
Familiarity with open-source communities
Technical background in software development

Responsibilities

Produce high quality documentation and code samples
Create technical curriculum such as tutorials
Edit, clarify, and proofread documentation
Develop and implement a cohesive documentation voice
Collaborate with various teams to prioritize and deliver documentation
Manage a team of technical writers and engineers

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
