Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading key Purchasing initiatives aligned with Corporate and Departmental objectives.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams (ie. Sourcing & Procurement, IT, Master Data, Operations, etc.) to drive process improvements.
• Lead and coordinate the creation, approval, and periodic review of key process documents and work instructions that are critical to the success of Purchasing activities.
• Identify and initiate projects that help achieve departmental KPI’s and metrics.
• Participate and represent Purchasing in any business analytical development or software enhancement activities (ie. Business Transformation, launch of new software, etc.).
• Build trusting relationships both internally with team members/relevant stakeholders and externally with customers and partners.
• Proactively manage project milestones and timelines.
• Own the overall project and deliverables. Maintain work breakdown structure, detailed implementation schedule, and project plan.
• Lead technical project teams within the program and translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Be a proactive problem-solver helping teams to side-step blockers, foresee issues before they arise, and limit predictable issues.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
• 5 or more years of Procurement experience
• 3 or more years of Project Management experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• SAP Functional experience in areas like Purchasing & Procurement, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.
• Solid technical project management skills with the ability to manage technical projects in a cross-functional environment and across multiple regions
• Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally and drive execution
• Superior organizational skills: notes, formal documentation, task assignment
• Strong drive for creating value for internal customers, creating strategies for cost savings.
