Senior Linux Software Engineer - Systems Engineering

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Linux Software Engineer to help redefine the storage experience and empower innovators through data solutions.

Skills

Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
Understanding of CPU and computer architecture, operating systems.
Experience with highly optimized algorithms using C/C++.
Knowledge of multithreading and lockless algorithms.
Understanding of enterprise data storage system architectures.

Responsibilities

Development focus on Linux kernel including new development, bug fixes, and analysis.
Specifying and setting requirements for enterprise-grade storage servers.
Software development through architecture, development, test, release, and maintenance.
Leading and mentoring junior engineers.
Developing primarily in C/C++ and Python.

Education

B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
