The SPS Commerce Tech Team is known for their problem-solving capabilities and ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.What does the day-to-day look like?The SPS Rotational Program trains curious and innovative early career Associate Software Engineers to collaborate and develop best-in-class technology.Associate Software Engineers design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug new and existing software and collaborate as a part of the scrum engineering team to introduce new concepts and technologies into the SPS product. Associate Software Engineers partner with tenured Software Engineers and are guided through mentorship as they learn modern tools for software engineering in a cloud environment, deliver fully functional code to our production environments, gain an understanding of how the stack works, and build experience and knowledge in all facets of development.What makes someone successful in Technology?• You’re ambitious and excited to learn from others.• You're highly collaborative. You excel at creative problem solving and thinking outside the box.• You have a positive attitude and natural enthusiasm for technology.• You are detail orientated and curious about how things fit together.• You like to be a problem solver.• You're flexible and can adapt to changes easily.Minimum Requirements• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant Experience; or equivalent work experience• Knowledge of core computer science concepts and can develop applications with limited scope• Ability to pair program with peers; works well in a collaborative setting – is a team player• Experience in modern frameworks such as React and Angular or a programming language like Python, Java or Go• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills• Ability to balance multiple tasks concurrentlyPreferred Experience• Experience with Agile, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, Java, or Node, Database, Cloud familiarityAt SPS Commerce, we prioritize the wellbeing and success of our team members.
