Contract UI Designer

The UI Designer will play a crucial role in designing and shaping the visual elements of our client's web and mobile digital products. Leveraging your extensive experience in UI design, you will lead the creation of captivating and user-friendly interfaces that align with our client’s campaign requirements and meet user needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will collaborate on projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that the user interface is visually appealing, coherent, and cohesive across multiple platforms.This position is a 3 month contract, 40 hours per week, beginning in August.What You'll Do• Create UI deliverables and provide guidance/support in working cross-functionally with developers• Bring proven knowledge of user-centered design process methods to digital applications from concept to launch• Design mockups to support product requirements• Build prototypes for user testing and developer handoff• Create visually appealing and engaging designs that align with our brand guidelines, considering typography, color schemes, iconography, and overall visual hierarchy• Develop the design system by maintaining a library of reusable UI components, design patterns, and style guides to promote consistency and streamline design workflows• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to deliver innovative and impactful designs• Collaborate with front-end developers during the implementation phase to ensure the integrity of the design vision and achieve pixel-perfect UI implementation• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and refine designs, ensuring optimal usability and user satisfactionWhat You'll Need• 2+ years of experience working in a UI role at a marketing agency or similar industry• Expert proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and prototyping tools (Principle, Azure, After Effects)• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and 3D software (Cinema4D, Blender, Spline3D ) and their impact on UI design• Demonstrated ability to create visually stunning designs for responsive web, with a keen eye for detail, typography, color theory, and composition• Solid knowledge in creating and maintaining scalable and effective Design Systems across web, mobile, and tabletWho we are: PureRed is an award-winning, 600+ associate, PE-owned advertising, marketing, and technology partner that delivers digital content at scale with speed and precision.
