Role: Python Software Engineer
Location: Highbury and Islington (N5 1XL) - North London
Growth Intelligence is harnessing machine learning (ML) and data engineering (billions of data points) to help our clients predict which businesses will buy from them, how valuable they will be and what to say to them - boosting growth and efficiency. Core to our platform is the deployment of ML models and handling of huge amounts of data.
You’ll work on our full-stack and have a real impact - working on problems in data engineering and web app development. We incorporate SOLID principles, architectural thinking and agile practices into our approach.
- You'll develop new features / products in a collaborative team working in Python,
- Your ideas will be heard - helping shape our products as they develop
- You'll be able to mentor junior members of the team
- You'll work with large amounts of structured / unstructured data

What you'll do:
You'll work in a professional software team to build and regularly ship software. Current projects we are working on include:
- Building tools for the data science team - e.g. an app to explore the features used in our ML models
- Using Docker to scale out the number of concurrent ML models we can train
- Improving automation of our deployment processes
- Building and enhancing our data pipelines - used to collect and process data on millions of companies
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- You have 2 years prior professional experience as a software engineer
- You have built software in teams using Python
- You are interested in working in Python
- You are a fluent English speaker
- You enjoy problem solving
- You want to work in a collaborative team, shipping new features for our data team / customers

Remote working
