Overview:
Bayview is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit. The Consumer Lending Fintech is a newly founded business line for direct to consumer lending efforts. The Consumer Lending team aims to improve people’s lives. The team will create innovative solutions that will raise awareness of available financial options and provide products to improve the financial well-being of consumers.
The engineering team in Consumer Lending will play a key role in building the product experience to launch a series of innovative products that will be beneficial for consumers. We are looking for a QA Automation Lead Engineer who will own the QA function for our consumer facing platform. This role will contribute to the overall organization by working to create quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance. As a remote-first Consumer Lending Fintech team, this role can be remote or in an office in New York City, NY or Coral Gables, FL. The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $210,000; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilites, a candidate's work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
Responsibilities:

Lead the QA function for the product suite within each phase of the SDLC-
Define QA automation strategy to drive code quality and coverage

Build and maintain test infrastructure to perform automated testing

Collaborate with engineering, product management, design and others in an Agile environment

Coordinate release candidates through environments and production deployments

Identify and manage risks, issues, and potential defects through project life cycle

Develop, maintain, and augment technical documentation

Adhere to the Company’s Compliance Standards

Qualifications:
-
Strong experience in in leading quality assurance and release management projects

Experience leading and mentoring remote/off-shore QA teams

Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud architectures

Passionate about learning new technologies and adapting to complex and fast-moving environments

Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally; collaborate & influence as part of a team

Collaborative in team environments but also able to act autonomously as a decision-maker

Analytical curiosity and experience using data to identify issues and determine actions

Ability to take “full ownership” of issues until they are completely resolved

5+ years of experience with web QA and automation tools

Good knowledge of JavaScript or Python

Good experience with Selenium, Pytest, JEST or similar frameworks

Knowledge or experience with test management tools such as Zephyr

Knowledge with AWS services or other cloud services
