Sobre a oportunidade:

We are looking for a skilled QA Tester to perform manual testing in a Data Analytics environment for the Palantir Foundry platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing data ingestion from source systems to the target system, validating data pipelines, and ensuring accurate transformations.

Responsabilidades:

Coordinate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and understand the scope of testing for the Palantir Foundry platform.

Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) and testers to create comprehensive test scripts that cover all aspects of the identified testing scope.

Execute test scripts and meticulously document test results to ensure accurate tracking of issues and defects.

Assist in the creation of test plans and strategies to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform.

Identify, report, and track issues through appropriate bug tracking systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any testing-related issues in a timely manner.

Provide regular updates on testing progress and communicate any potential risks or concerns to project stakeholders.

Qualificações necessárias:

Previous experience in testing within a Data Analytics environment is highly desirable.

Proficiency in testing data ingestion, data pipelines, and transformations.

Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Ability to create comprehensive test scripts based on testing requirements and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with bug tracking systems and ability to accurately document and track issues.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

At Avenue Code it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for US Based QA Engineer is 90K to 130K per year.
