As a QA Integration Engineer, every day will be different and will include the following:
Responsibilities:
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects.
- Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and generate test cases based on product and engineering specifications.
- Debug & perform root cause analysis on front-end + back-end components of a distributed system.
- Perform hardware, software, and networking set-up of various vehicle and operator systems.
- Serve as a problem solver and ensure the successful deployment of Phantom hardware and software.
- Work closely with R&D and track issues to resolution.
- This role will require temporary relocation to the company's headquarters in South San Francisco for a period of 8 weeks while in training.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience (preferably in an Agile development environment.)
- Knowledge of Regression + Integration Testing flows
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
- Understanding of general networking concepts
- Familiarity with software testing best practices (Agile methods)
- Background knowledge of Bash scripting, network setup, and systems.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and related concepts
- Concise and effective communicator, able to work within a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate and live in South San Francisco for 8 weeks
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to real-time, latency-critical technologies (video streaming, robotics.)
- Experience with SQL / Data Visualization tools (Grafana / Mode / Tableau.)
- Experience with basic to intermediate electronics troubleshooting, wiring (wire harness design), and modification of existing onboard vehicle systems.
The pay for this position has a salary range of $100,000-$140,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and options.
