Job Summary:


We are seeking a talented and driven Process Engineering Manager to join our team. This critical role is pivotal in shaping and refining our manufacturing processes and workflows across production and support departments. The Process Engineering Manager will lead efforts to optimize operations, address process challenges, and champion continuous improvement. By identifying opportunities for innovation, reducing waste, and enhancing efficiency, this position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality products and operational excellence. Fluency in English is required for this position, as effective communication is essential for successful job performance.


As the Process Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Optimize production processes for maximum efficiency
  • Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve product quality

  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise engineering, quality, and tooling teams, ensuring efficient execution of processes and procedures.
  • Develop, optimize, and standardize processes across departments, driving continuous improvements and managing critical systems such as melt and sand processes.
  • Oversee and maintain documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), standard work instructions, and operational procedures, ensuring accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with product development, design, and scheduling teams to integrate process considerations into product designs, coordinate pattern changeovers, and ensure readiness for production.
  • Manage and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), First Article Testing (F.A.T.), and new product introductions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to resolve quality and process challenges.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce non-conforming products (scrap) and support quality improvement plans, including calibration of control equipment and compliance with 6S standards.
  • Oversee tooling and pattern shop operations, prioritizing repairs and supporting new product initiatives.
  • Support safety and incident reviews to enhance processes and mitigate risks.
  • Provide daily engineering and quality updates, manage special projects, and collaborate on critical-to-quality (CTQ) variable controls and equipment optimization.


Qualifications:
  • We’re looking for a candidate with a strong engineering background, proven leadership skills, and a successful track record in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, required in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of engineering supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in sand casting foundry is preferred.
  • Experience with blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding processes will be a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly IQMS preferred, and managing Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing process improvements and troubleshooting in a production setting.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred.


Physical Requirements:
  • This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.
