Corporate Counsel

Qualia is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their Legal team. The role involves supporting the sales, product development, and business development teams through contract drafting and negotiation.

Skills

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership
Three to five years of related legal experience
Experience in technology-related and/or payments/financial contracting
Solid understanding of intellectual property, data protection, and privacy issues
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including SaaS subscriptions and partnership agreements
Collaborate with business teams to provide legal advice on contract terms
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Support legal team in developing and maintaining contract templates and guidelines
Provide legal training to internal teams and partner with cross-functional teams for strategic initiatives
