Corporate Counsel
Qualia is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their Legal team. The role involves supporting the sales, product development, and business development teams through contract drafting and negotiation.
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership
- Three to five years of related legal experience
- Experience in technology-related and/or payments/financial contracting
- Solid understanding of intellectual property, data protection, and privacy issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including SaaS subscriptions and partnership agreements
- Collaborate with business teams to provide legal advice on contract terms
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Support legal team in developing and maintaining contract templates and guidelines
- Provide legal training to internal teams and partner with cross-functional teams for strategic initiatives
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
