Our Polypropylene Business is looking for our next Quality Manager to join our growing and dynamic team in our Longview Texas facility.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Foster a quality culture and build quality capability across 2 manufacturing sites to improve our quality performance.
  • Understanding our customers current and future product quality needs and drive our quality performance to meet their needs.
  • Apply Operational Excellence Strategy and Principle Based Management® for managing continuous improvement of Quality Systems and Processes.
  • Work with Operations, Commercial, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, and the corporate Quality teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Use statistical methods to track, monitor, and report quality performance relative to industry and customer expectations.
  • Align organization around key performance indicators (KPI's) and drive efforts to close gaps.
  • Conduct quality reviews at various levels in the organization and track performance against key action plans.
  • Building collaborative relationships with strategic customers and internal capabilities
  • Lead a continual learning and improvement process, by driving investigations, implementing sustainable corrective action, and providing timely resolutions to customers.
  • Participate in audit process of facilities and warehouses.

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Three years or more of experience driving quality and process improvements in a manufacturing or petrochemical environment
  • Knowledge and use of statistical tools for data analysis
  • Experience with investigation techniques (preferred causemap, RCA techniques 5 Why's, fault tree etc.)
  • Experience with Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, Outlook; and PowerPoint

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in a petrochemical manufacturing or industrial work site
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Statistical Control Process, Continuous Improvement or ISO9001 experience, or comparable qualifications (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, ISO auditing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience to lead sustainable change within a capability model
  • Supervisory experience
